Indigenous Peoples - mathprof

When you learn something from people, or from a culture, you accept it as a gift, and it is your lifelong commitment to preserve it and build upon it.  Yo-Yo Ma

I've had the great fortune to travel to over 40 countries with more in the planning stages.  Over the years, I've found that one of my favorite types of photography is indigenous peoples.  Gaining a better understanding of who they are and the hardships some must  face never fails to evoke a great respect and commitment to our common humanity. We are all one people.
